Technology presentation: Mackie DXB400 Digital Production Console
MackieÕs dXb.400 digital desk features a unique dual touch-screen interface, 96kHz operation (optional to 192kHz), on-board automation and DSP, twenty-five 100mm optical faders, fully configurable I/O card cage. Surround functionality is integral to the design. Both models are also compatible with select VST plug-ins.

Manage Your Metadata - Dolby Labs
In addition to audio, Dolby Digital and Dolby E carry important messages about how that audio should be played back. Managing this metadata content can be as important as properly handling the audio itself. How does metadata flow through the broadcast and production chain? In addition to Dolby E, what alternatives are being used for managing metadata? How do you measure and monitor metadata parameters? What are the consequences of poorly handled metadata? Dolby specialists will guide us down the path of proper use and transmission of metadata.
